Privacy — Paré

Paré ("we," "our," or "us") is a fashion curation app for iOS. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your choices. By using Paré, you agree to the practices described here.

Information We Collect

Account information. When you create an account — via Apple Sign In, Google Sign In, or email and password — we receive your name, email address, and a profile identifier. If you sign in with Apple and choose to hide your email, we receive Apple's relay address instead.

Profile data. You may optionally add a display name and profile photo. These are stored securely in our database.

Collections and items. The fashion collections you build in Paré — including product names, images, prices, URLs, and notes — are stored in our database and associated with your account.

Style quiz responses. If you complete the style quiz, your responses are stored on your device and optionally used to personalize styling suggestions.

Usage data. Our infrastructure provider may collect standard server logs, including IP addresses, request timestamps, and general usage patterns. We do not use third-party analytics SDKs.

To communicate with you about your account or significant changes to the app

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your data to serve third-party advertising.

Third-Party Services

Paré relies on the following third-party services to operate. Each has its own privacy practices:

Supabase — database, authentication, and file storage. Privacy Policy

Anthropic — AI-powered styling suggestions. Product details (name, category, color) may be sent to Anthropic's API to generate advice. No personally identifiable information is included. Privacy Policy

Skimlinks — affiliate link processing when you tap a retailer link. Privacy Policy

Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. We may share information in the following limited circumstances:

With your permission — for example, when you share a collection with another user via an invite link
Service providers — the third-party services listed above, as necessary to operate the app
Legal requirements — if required by law or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Paré or its users

Data Retention

We retain your account data and collections for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

Your Choices

Edit your profile — update or remove your name and photo at any time in the Profile tab
Delete your account — contact us at the email below to request full account deletion
Opt out of AI styling — the Stylist feature is optional; you can use Paré without requesting styling suggestions

Children's Privacy

Paré is not directed to children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
